[snips-users] Snips - RTT Times when monitoring > 1000 devices

Hi Folks,

I'm wondering if I could get a Hand on this one.
I have modified the ippingmon include file to actually produce batch-sizes of 
128 Devices.
ALso - the rrd-Tool option is on to collect data in rrd-files.

All that is working OK. However - I have very often the problem that the 
round-trip times are over 4 seconds.

Anyone having experienced something similar already ?
Has this something to do with the maximum number of sockets to be opened or is 
there something else I should take into account when Monitoring large amounts of 
devices ?
