[snips-users] unable to compile snipstv / CVS not working??
|
Hi All, I'm unable to compile snipstv on Linux (gentoo) but everything else seems to compile okay. It's falling over at the following point: gcc -O -DSNIPS -DRRDTOOL -DLINUX2 -I/tmp/snips/include create_subwins.o do_filter.o help_page.o init.o main.o parse_user_input.o update_eventwin.o update_msgtitle.o update_msgwin.o update_promptwin.o update_title.o -L/tmp/snips/lib -lresolv -lgdbm -lsnips -L/usr/lib -lrrd -lncurses -o snipstv help_page.o(.text+0x68): In function `help_page': : undefined reference to `errno' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [snipstv] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/snips/snipstv' After a little googling for similar errors to do with "errno", I added the following line to help_page.c: #include <errno.h> And now this seems to compile okay. Also, when I try to check snips out of CVS, the following error occurs: spitfire:~>export CVSROOT=:pserver:public at cvs navya.com:/cvsroot spitfire:~>cvs co snips /cvsroot: no such repository Has the CVS location changed?
