[nocol-users] nocol 4.4b1 w/RRD problem
|
hi, i used nocol at my last job and found it quite useful so i installed it on my other systems to monitor them last night, i used the 4.4b1 build. Running on Debian GNU/Linux 2.2r0(i386) Everything is working good sofar, except rrdgraph.cgi. Debian apparently does not include GIF support in RRDs.pm only PNG. I altered rrdgraph.cgi accordingly to draw PNG graphs instead. Before i made the change i was getting this error(from apache): [Wed Aug 23 16:03:13 2000] [error] [client 216.39.172.116] Premature end of script headers: /usr/lib/cgi-bin/rrdgraph.cgi RRD error - unsupported graphics format 'GIF' I changed GIF to PNG in rrdgraph.cgi..but now when i try to run it i get: [Wed Aug 23 16:03:19 2000] [error] [client 216.39.172.116] Premature end of script headers: /usr/lib/cgi-bin/rrdgraph.cgi RRD error - invalid rpn expression 'info,UN,UNKN,info,0,EQ,0,UNKN,IF,IF' this seems to reference line 237 of rrdtool.cgi. The debian packages for rrdtool that i am running are: ii librrd0 1.0.7-5 Time-series data storage and display system ii librrd0-dev 1.0.7-5 Time-series data storage and display system ii librrds-perl 1.0.7-5 Time-series data storage and display system ii rrdtool 1.0.7-5 Time-series data storage and display system also running perl 5.005 and, i should note that there is data being collected in /usr/local/nocol/rrddata. I don't _need_ rrdsupport of course but it looks quite nice. I'm no perl expert so i was hopin someone could point me in the right direction to see if i can get this workin :)) great program btw! tia! nate -- ::: ICQ: 75132336 http://www.aphroland.org/ http://www.linuxpowered.net/ aphro@aphroland.org |
