Hi Nocol People,
A little complaint actually, and something everyone should be aware
off.
I try to be carefull about where I send my email address, since
they tend to end up on spam lists pretty easily if you aren't carefull.
recently I recieved some spam email, and I searched google for my email
address thinking I may have put it somewhere silly.
the results are that the web based nocol-list archives are browsable
(versus searchable) thus all email addresses are visable.
Can I suggest one of two things,
- make the archives a database style access so web crawlers
can't pick addresses so easily
- mangle the email addresses on the listmembers behalf.
I'm not saying that nocol-users is at fault, tho it IS a distinct
possibility.
