Maybe I should take a look at this beep_oncall script: I tried to set up
something in etc/notifier-confg to tell it to page me but it seemed that
NOCOL was generating messages of such a length that soemwhere between
qpage and the (bloody awful UK Vodaphone ZAP) gateway it was trying to
use, qpage was thinking its pages had failed whilst they were actually
getting through, and we got inundated with page messages (all at premium
rate).
