I have sendmail 8.9.1 on the probed system (mail-relay) an the message in the logfile reads: Dec 31 09:26:10 mail-relay sendmail[1675]: NOQUEUE: Null connection from nocol.amc.uva.nl [1.2.3.4] i also use nocol 4.2.1 so it's probably the way sendmail logs the action from nocol, if you want to check what's going on you can use tcpdump to peek into the connection. bye, Ewald...
